The Government of Canada is continuing to expand its worldwide network of visa application centres (VACs) to make services more accessible to a wider audience. To better serve applicants in Saint Lucia and the Caribbean, a new VAC opened in Saint. Lucia on October 9, 2019.
As part of the visa application process, Saint. Lucian nationals must provide their biometrics (fingerprints and a photo) once every 10 years when applying for a Canadian visitor visa, study, work, or temporary residence permit, or each time they apply for permanent residence. Saint. Lucian applicants, as well as other Caribbean applicants, can now take the opportunity to provide biometric information in Saint Lucia.
If you are planning to travel to Canada for study, business, tourism, family reunions or other reasons, this new service can help to ease the visa application process. The VAC is located at Leverage Business Group, Mongiraud, Gros Islet and will open weekly from 07:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday in Saint Lucia.
