The Department of External Affairs is in receipt of information from the Consulate General of Saint Lucia in Martinique advising that the EXPRESS DES ILES shuttle will operate this weekend on the Saint Lucia stopover as follows:-
Friday March 20: Fort de France (1:15 p.m.) to Castries (arrival at 2:45 p.m.)
Sunday March 22: Fort de France (1:15 pm) to Castries (arrival at 2:45 pm)
The Express des Isles Offices will be re-opened on Friday March 20th at 8:30 am to facilitate Saint Lucians in Martinique who wishes to travel back to Saint.
The Consulate advises that all persons who require to modify or buy tickets should present themselves at the ticket booth very early in an effort to alleviate last minute disruptions. Kindly note that tickets can also be purchased on the Express des Isles website or call center.
The Department of External Affairs informs that in keeping with the protocol guidelines established for Covid19, ALL passengers upon arrival in Saint Lucia, will be either quarantined, isolated or asked to self-quarantine depending on the symptoms exhibited by each passenger.
Further, the travel restriction on persons with a travel history within the last fourteen (14) days from Hong Kong, Republic of Korea, Japan, Italy, Singapore, Spain, France, Germany, Iran and the United Kingdom is still in effect.
Persons who travel from the United States within the last 14 days to Saint Lucia and who develop respiratory related symptoms will be isolated and tested for COVID19.
The Department also advices that all persons in Saint Lucia who are aware of a family members or friends in Martinique who wishes to travel back home on Express de Iles should contact the Department of External Affairs at telephone number 1 758 468-4514 to provide the following pertinent information: -
