The Department of External Affairs is in receipt of correspondence from the British High Commission in Saint Lucia, informing of the changed travel protocols for passengers travelling to the UK. With effect from 0400 GMT Monday, January 18, 2021:
• All passengers arriving into the UK from any destination in the world (except the UK Common Travel Area) will be obliged to self-isolate for ten (10) days. This is in addition to the need to travel with a negative COVID-19 test and the completion of a Passenger Locator Form (PLF).
This removal of ‘travel corridors’ will remain in effect until February 15, 2021.
The Department further informs that information will be provided shortly on the exemptions necessary to maintain the flow of critical goods that protect essential services or facilitate Government work.
