• All passengers arriving into airports in England from all destinations world-wide will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than three days prior to departure.  In preparation for travel, passengers will be responsible for locating a testing provider which meets the standards set by the UK Government, the majority of which will be Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests.  Full details of testing requirements will be found at https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.  In the case of Barbados, an extension to entry into force has been granted to 0400 GMT / 0000 AST Thursday January 21, 2021 due to current testing challenges.  All arrivals from Saint Lucia after this date and time will need to comply in full with these requirements;

• Passengers will also continue to be required to complete an online Passenger Locator Form (PLF) which can be found at https://www.gov.uk/provide-journey-contact-details-before-travel-uk 

• There will be limited exemptions, including for children under 11 and air crew.  The full exemption list will be available on https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus.  Operators will refuse boarding to passengers without a negative result and completed PLF.  Passengers arriving in England without a negative test will be liable for a fine of £500.  The requirement for pre-departure testing will be in place for at least the period of the current lockdown in the UK.  The British High Commission will update the Ministry on any changes to this policy.

• Passengers arriving from Saint Lucia will not need to self-isolate on arrival in the UK, as Saint Lucia lies within the UK Government’s Travel Corridor.  This arrangement is subject to ongoing monitoring and review.
